Career in landscape architecture
Since completing my study at Victoria University in Wellington, I have worked as a Landscape Architect in Auckland and Wellington. Involvement has included a variety of open space designs and planning and management initiatives across a range of scales in the greater Auckland and Wellington Regions (both urban and rural), Northland, Coromandel, and Gisborne.

Currently I am the Secretary of the Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA).  I am enjoying the challenges and rewards that this role offers.

I am passionate about photography, and spending time in the outdoors.  I enjoy exploring new places and using my skills in photography to illustrate my travels.  I have travelled around New Zealand extensively, and appreciate diverse and unique beauty of our country, both natural and man-made. This passion directed me to my field of study, and consequent field of work.

I enjoy working within community groups, having grown up in a very vibrant multi-cultural community and participating in many groups and community events from a young age.
